Profound Healing
Healing on all Levels
What is Healing?
The subtitle above says 'Healing on all Levels'. This refers to not only healing on the physical level, but equally important are the Emotional and Spiritual levels. The previous page, 'Thanks for the Pain', talks about why the body creates pain. Pain is a message in the same way that thirst and hunger are messages. When we decipher the message and find the reasons behind the pain, then we are at the beginning of the healing process.

The first stage of healing considers our 'self', who 'we' really are. There have been incidents from the past which have caused problems to our energy bodies because of our reaction to these incidents. Our reactions are unique to us, we react according to our nature and personality. If we are insecure, for example, we may take on board any negative comment directed towards us as fact.
Our life experiences might be the cause of our insecurity, so it will be necessary to explore and clear these before moving on. These experiences are a necessary part of our spiritual development, and shouldn't be avoided, but they do have an emotional impact.

The second stage of healing is to find and clear the emotions which are causing the disruption to the energy flow. This can take some time, episodes from the past might be suppressed in our unconscious, and frequently there are blocks to releasing the feelings. For example, if someone has treated you badly, you might feel justified in holding on to feelings such as anger, resentment, or hatred. What you might not realise is that it is these emotions which have a direct bearing on the pain you are experiencing, and so must be addressed  for the healing to be profound and long-lasting.
It is possible to access the unconscious mind, find the root causes, and eliminate any resistance to healing.

The final stage of healing works at the physical level, and returns the body to a state of balance so that the body can do its healing work.

Healing is not something which is 'done' by someone else. As a healer I can help with the process, but we all must take responsibility for our own healing.

In serious cases the possibility exists that you are not meant to recover, and this can be a difficult fact to take on board. We are where we are supposed to be, we fit into the plan of God/The Creator/The Universe, and sometimes it is the right time for our physical bodies to die. Even in this situation healing can take place, he
lping with the acceptance of the reality of life and death.
